Our Project
Across the world, stone buildings are being destroyed by pollution, weathering, and other natural processes. The damage is irreversible, and the cost of repair is high. We are developing a sustainable repairing method framework for stone based buildings, with the power of synthetic biology.
We have enginereed and developped a system to precipitate ions onto a DNA origami scaffold. The system comprising of a bacteria is sprayed on the damaged surface, and the stone will be produced on the surface.
